Hans Holzers Directory Of Psychics is a good book if your just getting interested in the psychic realm. It goes into detail about what a psychic/medium does, and what you should look for when considering a reading from a psychic proffesional. It also warns that although there are legitimate psychics out there, there are also many con artists out to take your hard earned cash. The book lists a variety of legitimate psychics that the author has had readings with over the years and the results and accuracies of those readings. He rates the various psychics from 2 stars to 4 stars, 4 being the best. I disagree with the author when he lumps psychics and mediums under the same heading. My definition of a medium is a person who primarily is a conduit for messages from souls who have passed over to the other side and gets his/her information directly from them. A psychic is a person who can make predictions about a persons future and can see into their past and current situations without necessarily getting messages from people who have passed on. I actually went for a reading with the top psychic in the book (Yolana Lassaw) last year, and she was very, very, accurate. Some predictions she told me have come true, some have not, although sometimes I think she was getting confused on the time frames of certain events she was mentioning- a thing she said was going to happen in the future already happened in the past, etc, but overall she was very good about details! The Directory Of Psychics is a fast way to get introduced to the psychic realm and get some names, numbers,etc. of some reputable practicioners in the field.
