I read this book back in the early 90s and was thrilled to come across it again.

Still as good as ever. The author does a great job of describing the people in the book, the background and just enough information to to make your imagination paint a picture for you but not too much info to overload you.

You feel for the people in this story. You feel their frustrations,joy, anger and everything else their situation brings them.

An excellent book. One to read many times over.
