Lightweight and straightforward, the Dirt Devil Featherlite Deluxe upright is easy to use and built for a range of cleaning applications. At 12 amps, the Featherlite's motor is as powerful as they come, but the machine is still surprisingly easy to maneuver, thanks to its angled handle and large, sturdy casters. Bag changing is handy, since the front panel of the hard shell body releases completely with one touch, while the MicroFresh filtration system inside the bag traps 99 percent of dust allergens. Dirt Devil includes additional automatic helpers--like the edge cleaner and height adjustment--while the 12-inch cleaning path and the 25-foot quick-release power cord help you cover ground efficiently. Knock on wood, it's been 5 months and this vacuum is still working. Unlike the last vacuum (a hoover windtunnel) that I paid $350 for, that only last a year until it blew out and would cost $250 to replace. Anyway, this vacuum is very light and sucks up very well in my opinion. We have a LOT of cat hair and it works great. This machine is a bit loud, but what vacuum isnt'? I had a kirby that was pretty loud and weighed about 10 times more than this one. This vacuum is well worth the money.

This vaccuum is extremely loud. After, 9 months the motor died and it is cheaper to get another vaccuum that replace the motor. I am shopping for a new vaccuum now. I don't recommend this at all!!!

I am very pleased with this machine, it is light enough to be able to get in hard to reach areas.It comes with a good selection of onboard tools,very bright headlight,this is a great unit,very powerful I am very pleased. sincerely one very happy customer...
