False advertising. Buyers beware!

Ordered through "Go Vacuum" (fulfillment by Amazon), and the Foam 1LK0545000 is *NOT* included. Just as another user pointed out earlier. When I placed the order, I was hoping it was an isolated incident that the foam is missing. Apparently it wasn't.

The Amazon rep did not offer any explanation, but it wasn't his fault that the seller failed to include the foam as stated in product description.

Item returned. I will try to order via another seller to see if that makes a difference.

A rather disappointing incident. Emailed Go Vacuum, no response.

Update 8/14/10: Ordered the same item from another seller, "The Vacuum Center". Guess what, still NO foam.

Why on earth can't they just state that the foam is not included (or better yet, have to be purchased separately at $xx) is beyond me, seeing how the vacuum needed both the foam and filter together to function properly. *sigh*

Initially I rate the item 1 star, but I edited and gave it a 3. The product itself is not to be blame for the missing parts.

The filters themselves looked new and clean. Will have to try it at a later time.

I ordered this because I can't get these locally. I chose this one because it said "Includes the Filter Cartidge 2LK0540000 and the Foam 1LK0545000" The foam was not included.

Searched and searched for the exact Dirt Devil filter without any avail, and finally I have found it. It is the exact replacement and I have already put it to good use and have noticed a great results in the cleanliness of my carpets.

Bought the product on Amazon as it was far cheaper than at stores. It does the job of reminding me how much dust is in my house.

While I was looking for my model number I saw a sticker that said "Washable Filter" on my Dirt Devil vacuum. I checked the manual and it said to run the filter under water and rinse out the foam sponge, let dry for 24 hours. So everyone double check your filter and manual.

What can I say? It looks just like the original filter. It does have a different color sponge in it, but I got another (same) vacuum cleaner, and the filter has yet another color sponge in it. I guess that makes no difference.

I didn't like the way it was shipped to me. It was shipped in a plain manila envelope. By the time I got it, it was nearly ripped out of the package. The post office actually had to tape the hole. That may not be relevant anymore. They may use a different shipper, or they may do a better job, because I did complain.

Bottom line, it's a filter. It is same as original.

Works great. Be aware that it doesn't include the foam insert. That needs to be ordered serperately-Or, keep the one from your old filter.

Excellent purchase - excellent source. I have been unable to find these filters at the local stores. How nice it is to order them through Amazon.com and have them delivered to the door.

These are the exact filters for my vacuum and I am very pleased.

Easy to clean and lasts a long time. A much better option than a lot of the "bagless" Vacs out there. The internet is not like a truck, you just cant dump things on it. It's, It's... a series of tubes!
