This little vacuum is lite in weight, has decent suction from the base and the canister is easy to empty with a push of a button. However, those are the only good features about this vacuum. The hose has very little suction. It wouldn't even pick up small fake Christmas tree needles, which are VERY light weight. The canister design on the vacuum is horrible. The piece at the bottom of the filter fits almost to the sides of the canister and doesn't let anything through so it clogs easily and constantly. Which defeats the purpose of an easy push of a button dispenser. I am always having to empty the canister out by hand and then having to take the canister off of the vacuum to dig out what is stuck in the path to the canister since it is constantly backing up. On our main level which is about 1200 sq feet and half of it being hard floors. When vacuuming, I empty the canister by hand and dig the fuzz and dirt about 4-6 times each time I vacuum. (Usually 3 times a week) Needless to say, I spend as much time cleaning it out than I do vacuuming. I will be going back to the store to buy a Hoover!

I purchased this vacuum because of the press a button and it will empty at the bottom feature that it has and I needed something small and lightweight since I live in a one bedroom apartment. I didn't realize that you had to take the entire canister apart in order to clean everything out of it and that it had an automatic shut off feature. I'm a person you suffers from a lot of allergy's and the last thing I need is to come into contact with the same thing that I'm trying to get rid of and since I live in a one bedroom apartment I should be able to vacuum two rooms and a hallway without it shutting off on me. I'm putting this thing in the trash and getting one with a bag.

Pros: lightweight, HEPA filter, relatively inexpensive, bagless, on-board attachments, good suction for a 10-amp motor.
Cons: hoses didn't mesh up with another Dirt Devil, few attachments, canister fills up quickly.

If you buy one: the canister clogs up less often if you empty it after it's half full, but that can make for a lot of canister changes. This is good for when you need more than a stick vacuum, but a little less than a full-size model. The vacuum path is a little narrow, but it also doesn't take up a lot of space. We've used it about three times; so far, no serious problems, but it's not quite as powerful as the 12-amp model we bought it to replace. There's no separate lever to tilt it, which feels like it might break at some point, but so far so good. It has an automatic pile adjustment, but we have only short-pile carpet, so I don't know if that works or not. It seems best for light use, but it's better than stick vacuums I've used.

We bought this vacuum for our camper. We had a small stick vacuum without a powered brush. This is a big step up!! The good: it sucks well :-) small footprint, easy to use and carry, easy to empty, long cord, easy to empty, not too loud. The bad: small holding tank that needs to be emptied ofter. Strech hose does not strech much. Hose not standard size (will not fit others attachements), no folding handle. Being a bagless it does not fit under things as well as a bagged vacuum.
