I bought this vacuum recently. This vacuum is horribly LOUD. EARPIERCING LOUD!!!
I have only used it twice. The first time it was so loud, I thought my husband had put it together wrong. I checked the box & theres not a whole lot to put together. Today was the second time I used it & I seriously thought my ears were going to bleed it was so loud!. Don't waste your money.

After having purchased the Dynamite and being relatively pleased I purchased the Vision Cyclonic. Since them I had to spend 65 dollars to have it serviced and cleaned out. The motor burns out after a very short period if there is some dust in the container. The filter clogs and causes all sorts of problems. The container also falls off when it is lifted up.

This Dirt Devil could be the worst product I have ever purchased. Do not purchase this product.

As another reviewer stated, the canister falls of the machine whenever you pick it by the handle. The upright/handle flexes easily causing the canister latch to disengage. The canister system itself is also a horribly flimsy design. Stay away from this product. It is a shame that resources were wasted in the production of such an abomination.

I purchased the Dirt Devil En Vision Bagless approx 4 years ago. A few months later my girlfriend (now wife) had also purchased the same model. All I can say is we are glad we bought two because now that we are married one stays in the garage ready to substitute the one in the house when it breaks and clogs. 4 out of 5 times we use these vacuums we have to get out screwdrivers and start unscrewing the hose mounts so we can fish a wired coat hanger down the hose to free it up from clogs. We dump the canister after every use, but still it never fails that the hoses get clogged because of the poor engineering with several sharp hose bends.

The quick and simple. This vacuum is a waste of money. Had it not been for us owning two therfore allowing us to always have one working, we would have replaced it 3 years ago. This is one of the most noisy, poor sucking vacuums I have ever owned.

Same your money and do not buy from Dirt Devil. I am reading positives on Dyson, and Bissel right now. I think I will try out the Bissel Cleanview Helix as consumer reports rated this highly along with Dyson.

I just purchased this TONIGHT and it wouldn't even start. I then waited for a few minutes and replugged it in and then it finally worked.....for about 10 minutes and completly stopped working. I have never had to write a review like this before but this just is absurd. I am taking it back tomorrow! Also, the suction actually is not that great and my previous vacuum was a Bisell and it worked great so I am going back to my tried and true. This is not worth your money, time or loyalty to this product. I am sure other Dirt Devil products are good but this vacuum just sucked but not in the way you want a vacuum cleaner to suck.

Bought this vacuum several months ago and just love it. It's light weight, but not flimsy. It is very efficient and handles the usual clean-ups, as well as pet hair and tiny items. I just like it so much and today, I am purchasing a second for my daughter. She also has pets and needs and all purpose vacuum. It's easy to empty ... you can easily see the accumulation of dirt. I can vaccum my entire house, without breaking my back. The cost was so reasonable. If I get several years use of this and have to purchase another, I will have been well served. Don't hesitate to purchase this all purpose, light weight, low noise - for a vacuum, appliance.

Suction seems great, tho I've only used once. Problem is ... the canister falls off when you lift the machine by the handle. And sadly, the one I just got is a replacement for one I sent back---because the canister fell off when lifting the machine by the handle.

Design flaw.

I used my new Dirt Devil five times on a 1,400 sq ft house. It quit. It's not worth it. I am glad I kept my old vacum for I am back to a 10+ year old hand held vacum that does just as well - and it still works. Friends, buy any other brand than this one! Run !
