As a Life long friend of Ms Jensen, I know she actually lived this stuff. I was one of the kids at the Jensen table and I am better for it. Dirt Farmer Wisdom is a great way of life and I am happy to have a small part of the wisdom set down in her book to remind me of the laughter, love and hope there was at the Jensen's home and that I can find in the future. I look forward to the next book of wisedon.

As the son of a dirt farmer myself, I know the tough life that these people live. It's a doozie--you're at the mercy of the weather (and the bank), and even when you work your fingers to the bone, it might not be enough.

Ms. Jensen's recounting of the wisdom her grandfather passed on to her after living this hard life made me reflect on my own thoughts of my father and grandfather. She has a great written voice, and her straight manner goes perfectly with the unadorned wisdom that she's talking about.

This is a delightful book. From the day I started to read the book I put the dirt farmer's wisdom into practice. I'm getting two more copies to give as gifts. Just another reminder of what is truly important in life. Thanks Jo Jo!
