Another Groundbreaking tool !, January 29, 2000
This review is from: The Dirt on Learning (Paperback)
Educators Thom & Joani Schultz have done it again! This is the follow up to their classic'Why Nobody Learns Anything Much at Church and How to Fix It.'
In The dirt on learning, we are provided with ground breaking tools to grow faith in our churches and beyond. So practical and needed for this day and age.
Inside you will find ways in which to -
* nurture or plant solid biblical learning techniques with proven results. * help create learners ( thinkers/doers )and * unlock the secrets of memory based on solid research.
Finally, the Dirt on learning is an encouraging piece with many helpful ideas that won't cost you the world. And even though I shouldn't judge a book by it's design, I have to say that the clear easy reading format combined with illustrations and data should be given a big tick of approval.

The Dirt on Learning - fantastic learning-based book on teaching, October 3, 2009
This review is from: The Dirt on Learning (Paperback)
This is a great book that teaches us how to teach children/people based on how they learn, not how we want to teach. It's a shame it is no longer being published and is so hard to get. Though it was written to sell a product, there is much more to it and we are using it in our weekly teacher training. "The Dirt on Learning" is an awesome tool that could/should be used by many in their quest to teach in a way that real learning will be gained and not just short-term learning!
