This is a great game, but if you want to multiply the fun, race online! You need to download a patch in order to make it work but is well worth the effort. Install the game with the multiplayer option. Then install the patch. Click on the gamespy icon... and click refresh when it comes up. Pick a server.. right click.. and launch...

This is the most fun! There are hundreds of people from all over the world racing.. and its a blast!

Dirt Track Racing is the best game available for the money! If fact I can't believe it's only $9.99... This is Late Model Dirt Car Racing at real tacks around the country. Down load X-font and all your favorite car bodies & dirt tracks from the internet. Create your own series and prize money. For added kicks adjust the competition AI's or go online and race real people! Just like the real thing! Only down fall is doesn't have replay like Sprint Car Racing. However, can't wait for Dirt Track racing 2 (6 stars) which should correct any down falls of this game which has very few. 5 stars!

I bought this "old game" a while back on Amazon. It's fantastic. I have been playing it 3 to 4 times a week for months. You don't need no fancy gadgets. Just your PC keyboard and you're good to go.
A terrific game.

This is a race game that I was looking for exactly.
Dirt Track Racing 1 is a in your face pedal to the medal balls out racing.

The physics are on the money. As good as NFS: porches unleashed. At first with your stock car you could almost floor it through all turns, but as you upgrade your pro stock you have to be carefully with the acceleration. Accelerate to fast or at the wrong time and you may put your car into an on wanted slide. I use a DualFirestorm gamepad with rumble and it works beautiful.
Sound affects are there and get the job done. No complaints. Damage is there but is nothing special. It has a minor inconsistency. But it doesn't bring the game down by no means. Rubber marks and dust are extremelly pentifull.

Now the career is full and very well laid out. After saving up for a pro stock, I kept racing my stock to save money and upgrade my pro. It worked out well and I am starting to come into some real good money. This will be my 4th season racing and if you go into career highlights you can see your improvement from first year to the last season that you completed. Good stuff.

Great game. ITs so in your face.

Make sure you have a wheel or 2 analogs to fully enjoy it, I recommend.

The game is fun to play, but the biggest problem I have with it is that when you bump into the back of other cars your engine goes bad real fast and I don't feel that is very realistic.

I can say that Dirt track racing is the best one out of all my computer games. From the stunning graphics to the awesome car models, THIS GAME ROCKS! Try the career. I like that when you're in the A MAIN,(on the career) You get to do a Victory Lap if you finish in 1st. My only problem is that, since I don't have a 100% compatible mouse, I can't see the mouse pointer. Anyway, JUST BUY THE GAME AND YOU'LL LOVE IT!

Dirt track racing is easily the best racing game out there.The graphics are great and the car handles like the real thing.I would always recommend this game to anyone who loves racing.
