5.0 out of 5 stars 4 of a kind/thrashzone, July 16, 2003

This is 2 cd's, 4 of a kind and thrashzone. Both are from the late 80's. 4 of a kind is one of the best albums i have ever heard. It successfully blends punk with metal and has a totally unique sound. All the songs on this cd are high speed thrash. The song "do the dream" is in the toy machine video welcome to hell in the slam section. I would recommend this to anyone who likes either 80's punk or metal or both. The 2nd cd, thrashzone is not nearly as good as 4 of a kind. It's not bad, it's still pretty good but it is very different from 4 of a kind, i guess its more metal than punk and it sounds kind of generic. It's worth it to buy this double cd set just for 4 of a kind.

These legendary angry punk-metal rockers put out 2 cds in 1 release. It is thier last 2 albums re-mastered. I owned 1 on cassette in high school. Great riffs, hooks and tempo changes make D.R.I. old school pioneers for genre. I like to work out to this stuff, give ya good energy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Damn Good, October 25, 2003

since the two discs songs are from four of a kind and thrash zone its a pretty kick ass combonation. four of a kind was one of my favorite DRI albums next to the dirty rotten lp and dealing with it, it has a great sound of metal, thrash, and punk and not one of the songs suck. Thrash zone was pretty bad ass too although it was mostly thrash metal and some punk but I like punk and thrash a lot so it should work for all types of DRI fans.So if your a big fan of DRI i would suggest you get this one for your collection.
