This book has everything. A well laid out storyline, sweet emotional connections between the characters, a great sexual tension and intimacy between the characters and a fantastic sense of humor. I loved the premise. She was recently hurt and so just wanted a fulfilling no-strings attached sexual relationship. Easy right? However Nathan has only had sexual relationships and wants to prove to himself that he can be the romantic relationship type guy all of the woman say they want. The cross-purposes of these two and their relationship keeps the story line fast paced and very engaging. The author really did a good job of showing you how both characters felt and the characters really felt very multi-dimensional and likeable.

Hottest, sexiest story I've ever read!,

This review is from: Dirty Deeds (Paperback)
Goodness gracious, as my Grandma would say, I'm still trying to calm my heart. Dirty Deeds isn't your grandma's kind of romance. It absolutely sent me over the edge with the hottest, sexiest story I've ever read. Lorelei James created Nathan LeBeau, landscape designer and devilishly delicious Native American man, to make us all long for a teacher with his skills and "sexpertise." The tension between Nathan and the sweet, wannabe bad girl, Tate Cross, had me reading quicker so I could get to the part that would give them the relief they so obviously needed! Lorelei James is a writer I'll be following - wherever she goes!

Dirty Deeds,
This review is from: Dirty Deeds (Paperback)
Tate Cross has decided she wants mind-blowing sex with no commitments. Tate's best friend Val Westfield decides that her brother Nathan LeBeau is perfect for her. Besides the no strings attached sex, Nathan is a landscaper and could help Tate landscape the house she has inherited from her aunt. Nathan has decided that he needs to work on his romantic side, meeting Tate will guarantee hot sex and give him the opportunity to compete in the Maxwell Landscaping Competition while Tate in turn helps him with landscape design. When they meet, it's lust at first site for both of them, but what happens when lust turns into something more? And, what happens when Tate finds out about the competition Nathan neglected to tell her about? Dirty Deeds is full of romance and hot sex. Nathan is so charming. He's romantic and passionate and incredibly sexy. Tate is a lot of fun. I wished that she had accepted what Nathan offered right away, but I had to wait for that. I really liked Nathan and Tate together. They fit. Dirty Deeds is emotional and passionate, and it has a heart warming ending as well. Nannette reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Don't let the title fool ya. This book was almost g-rated compared to some others I've read by LJ. The lead characters were un-remarkable in my opinion and the story really dragged at times. It seemed the author kept repeating herself or the characters kept re-hashing the same argument in different settings all in the guise of building anticipation. Their coming together was almost anti-climatic. Not worthy of an "erotica" description at all.All in all, it was very predictable and again...unremarkable.

Dirty Deeds; you'll love it,

While Tate Cross is in town to settle her aunt's estate, she decides she wants to have a down and dirty, no strings attached affair but who with. In the meantime, she learns she must comply with new landscaping regulations for her aunt's house before she can sell the property and return to her life. Tate's finances are almost burned out since she's on a leave of absence from her job as a graphic artist. She asks her friend Val for suggestions. Val thinks her brother, Nathan, may be the right man for the job. She thought a trade off was in order; Nathan could use some help with art lessons for his growing business and Eden could use a break on costs with her landscaping expenses. Val even thought commitment shy Nathan was the man for Eden down and dirty affair.Nathan LeBeau wasn't sure he wanted to get involved in anything with his sister's friend, Tate but Val convinced him to give it a try. He knew this might be his perfect opportunity to prove himself to the city council and build his business in a different direction. When he met Tate, he was totally bowled over by her beauty and brains. His last girlfriend had told him he was too involved with his work and didn't have time for romance. But all Tate wanted was sex. How was he going to prove to Tate she should give him a chance at more than just sex? This is the story of two strong willed people, each having a much different agenda. What Tate and Nathan don't realize until it's almost too late is they are perfect for each other. I so loved this story. Lorelei James brought out some emotions in me the reader that really make a good romance story. If you want a story that will make you laugh and cry, read this one

You know, I really suck at writing reviews, but I wanted my 5 starts up there, so here goes. Dirty Deeds is much more a romance than erotica, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the story at all. It's romantic, has lots of sexual tension, and is very hot as well. The tension builds as does the relationship between Tate and Nathan. I highly recommend it.

I discovered this author recently and have read several by her this past week. But this one, Dirty Deeds - is the pick of the bunch.I found myself laughing several times as the story progressed - laughing with delight because I was enjoying the book so much. The hero is really stunning and has a great work ethic and terrific personality to boot. This has to be one of my top reads so far this year.

Lorelei James has made me a never ending fan. I just can't get enough of her books. This one was just so touching. Didn't expect it to get to me like it did. Both Tate and Nathan think they can just do the "no strings attached, just sex" thing, but boy were they wrong. Loved how it played out and I cried as they suffered through their discovery of themselves and just thoroughly enjoyed the book overall. Although the sex scenes weren't as graphic and intense as rough rider cowboys, they were very touching and intense in different ways, and I felt it..

Slow Going,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dirty Deeds (Kindle Edition)
This book was slow going, I did not get the chemistry between h and h. There was more confusion than chemistry. It appeared that the hero was too reluctant and I did not get how he could be so committed to romance yet knows the heroine won't be around for too long and on top it he is unwilling to say anything or offer anything to help change her mind (he's not very alpha at all). This confusion in his mind was visited often and maybe that added to the thickening of the plot but sometimes it just bored me. I liked the book overall but not one of Lorelei's best.
