Who says girls can't play rock guitar? Ali Handal proves those critics wrong! Not only by playing but by writing or co-writing all the tracks on the CD. Tight play and awesome fretwork. Who needs (or would want) all the bleach blonde pop clones out there when we have the real thing right here!

This CD is wonderful because it offers something for every music lover. "Dirty Little Secret" combines amazing guitar playing with powerful, fun vocals to create songs that really reach her audience. Wouldn't you love to use the line "They say good things come to those who wait, but don't waste my time!" .....Or how about "He wakes me up each morning by sitting on my head" (you gotta hear the whole song to understand..meow! ) If you like Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page, Alanis Morrisette, Ani Difranco, and/or Red hot Chili Peppers, you can hear a taste of it all in this album. My personal favorites on this album (although the more I hear it the more my favorites change) are: In Your Name, Slave To Ambition, and Distance (and of course, Indy). She Rocks! Buy it today. Ali plays the guitar like she means it, writes lyrics that are intelligent and witty, melodies that stick with you, rhythms you can dance to, and she can raise the roof with the power of her singing!

I love this CD! Ali Handal is a great songwriter, she has a beautiful voice, and plays a mean guitar. What more could you ask for? Ali does it all and does it very well. So well that I volunteered to be a member of her small but growing Street Team. Ali has since asked me to be the leader of her Street Team, and I graciously accepted. I want to be around Ali when she gets the recognition she deserves and hits the "Big Time." I have also created a fan group on Yahoo and would like to invite each and every one of Ali's fans to join. Not a weak track on the disk. Straight-forward rockers to grinding funk...playing and production are tight. Exceptionally well-crafted songs; it's a disk you'll listen to over and over.

Ali offers a spirited, new voice, sassy music and provocative lyrics. It's a fun album, and you'll find yourself humming any one of several songs. Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of hearing Ali do her songs for more than five years now and I can tell you that she is the real deal. She truly connects with every aspect of her music from killer riffs to honest heartfelt emotions. If you like funky alternative jamming delivered with real guts, then you gotta get ahold of this CD.

This a great CD! The music ranges from ballad type stuff to funky to hard edged guitar playing. Every song is good. I totally recommend this CD. I've listened to it many times & still love it.
