4.0 out of 5 stars For a remix album: Great
As far as remix albums go, this one is excellent. Their are some very good remixes and a couple of new tracks. TKK has been evolving for a long time. While I prefer their earlier sound, the present sound is quite good too. Combine glam, sex, drugs, and a bit of evil darkness and you have TKK.

2.0 out of 5 stars Where's the Thrill Kill we all know and love?
Haven't heard anything worth buying from Thrill Kill since Hit & Run Holiday. None of the remixes or unreleased tracks are especially stunning. They even omitted the cool vocals remixes of songs like Dimentia 66. As the subtitle suggests, however, this album would make a decent soundtrack for a strip club. Otherwise, it offers nothing new.

4.0 out of 5 stars TKK Grooves On With Classic Sounds..., October 28, 1999

Those who were a little disappointed with "A Crime For All Seasons" can rejoice at the release of this disc, a b-side and remix collection of the "Sexplosion" through "Hit & Run Holiday" eras complete with funky grooves, sleazy samples-- and most important of all-- TKK's trademark blazing synth horn section. This disc doesn't get 5 stars ONLY because the remixes don't take advantage of the hardcore or D&B styles of today's more intense techno "flavors," instead remainingly fixed in a mid-90's sort of dance vibe. (That and there's no remix of "Disko Fleshpot," dammit!) Still, any TKK fan will find the new b-sides wicked fun & worth the price of purchase. And anyone with an appetite for dance beats will find themselves mindlessly dancing around the house with the stereo cranked up in no time. Now groove on, assume the motion...

4.0 out of 5 stars Like the jazzy, groovy, dance Kult, July 20, 2002

I love the more danceable, jazzy, groovy beats of the Kult rather than their satanic stuff. This is a great one in that vein!

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly orgazmic electric acid jazz....., October 30, 1999

This cd made me want to rip my clothes off and go completely insane to the muzac. It's potent, and the intensity will make you want to suit up in bondage gear. My only regret is that the cd didn't come equipped with a blow-up doll. I hate waiting for tkk's new cds to come out (and god, this one seemed like a lifetime thanx to ryko) but this cd is oh-so-worth the waiting. TKK is like a McDonald's hamburger: always juicy, always satisfying.

This is worthy of inclusion if you collect this band. I own it and don't regret it's purchase. One of the most intersting units in the last 20 years regrettfully neglected by most critics, and AMERICAN. When I heard they were dropped by Interscope after perhaps their most unique offerring(H&R Holiday) I was shocked but not surprised, I guess the label was making room for U2's salary. Shameful. Once you get past their 'persona' you come upon an innovative American band (say that again three times). The close minded may be put off by their lyrics or subject matter but they aren't the kind of people who appreciate real rock and roll, are they? The mesh between R&R and dance was never so celebrated or so much fun. This band will turn it around and eventually rule again,

i saw mlwttkk last night in ohio and it was a show that i will never forget ... i havent seen them since the "sexplosion" tour and i can not believe how far they've come ... that aside ... yesterday also was the release date of their much delayed new album . disguised as a "remix" record by the con men at rykodisk , dls is actually an albums worth of new material peppered with a few re worked classics . i've managed to listen to it four times now and i have to say this is the hottest dance album of the year and the finest thrill kill kult record yet . no dj horseshit , no "dubs" , no demos ... just very well crafted disco - go go - horror film - industriosleeze . irresistable .

much better than the rob zombie "strip" record released also yesterday .

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad remixes of thier dullest material, January 3, 2002

Typical retro glam tripe that made me stop listening to them after "13 Above The Night." They've lost their way and explains why they've lost band members. Go listen to "Electric Hellfire Club" if you miss the good old days of "Cuz It's Hot" and "Kooler Than Jesus." This sissy junk has nothing to do with why they started in the first place.
