Derek's earlier CD was great but this one is truly outstanding. I recommend this CD for anyone who likes Blues style Rock. I'm pretty sure non-natives will like this too.

I'm a blues and rock lover who has lived in Mississippi for over 20 years.

Derek Miller is one of the few younger blues guitarists who gets it. From the first cut, I was immediately impressed not only with his playing and singing, but also his lyrical understanding of Delta Blues imagery. He's not another poseur, and thank goodness he's not another "next Stevie Ray Vaughan." His approach to guitar is that of a bluesman, not of a technician.

Very enjoyable CD, and I would have told you Derek is a Mississippian if I didn't know he was from Canada.

this album is AMAZING , if you like guitar oriented stuff like
Colin James or even Big Sugar check ths guy out.
he will NOT dissapoint. the guitar songs are all great , but my fave
is OOH LA LA , Because LUCY IDLOUT is on it.
and she can do no wrong.the two greatest guitar trax are-
DEVIL CAME DOWN SUNDAY & MYSTERY TRAIN ( just excellent )
give the guy a chance , he deserves it - hodge
