the ultimate supergroup- 4 voices, 4 musicians- each earning 5 out of 5 stars individually-(see their solo cds-lea krueger-mckinley-lara michell-stephanie schneiderman-all excellent)- songs/performance/attitude- if i could give this 20 stars i would. a timeless album- the only all star collaboration that exceeded the sum of it's parts-and a kick ass live group to boot- beautiful music-period.

One of the greatest albums I've heard in a long time. Too bad there's no samples up on Amazon yet.
This and their other album "Tea and Revenge" are both incredible. Kind of a cross between Dixie Chicks & KT Tunstall, sort of a alt-roots-country-rock-acoustic sort of thing. Sounds weird but it's just unbelievably listenable. What I especially like is the harmonies. Gorgeous, gorgeous harmonies everywhere. You owe it to yourself to hear these albums. And see them live if you can, they're great live too! |
