This tune begins with some ear lacerating guitar riffs and ups the ante throughout. It is underscored by some great drum syncopations and lyrical guitar riffs. There is a kind of panting, sawing, guitar rhythm throughout (definitely in the background) which I suppose it the source for the embarrassing name.This tune has a hard driving quality that is typical of this album. Although not my favorite song in this collection (the best is Loose Cannon) it will be enjoyed those looking for some Beck with a harder edge than normal. |
