Brenda you did your thing. I was shocked at the end of this book and who would have imagined it to turn out as it did. I couldn't believe it and I won't say much because it will give the clues away. All I can say is don't sleep on Brenda's books. They are all great and I am ready for some more Jaylin now.

Brandon's soon to be wife is murdered and he's pointing the finger at every one around him. Is it Cassandra's aunt Ruby or a police officer Jabar that Cassandra had an affair with? Brandon's friend Will also could be the culprit, but so can some other people. More bad luck comes when he thinks they've caught the murderer and the story is filled with twists and turns that you will not believe.

My favorite author shines again. I was so into this book and was shocked by the ending. Will there be a part two and if so I can't wait.

I am new to the book world but this is my second book by Brenda Hampton and it was Fantastic, It kept me interested the whole time wanting to know what was going to happen next... The ending is amazing i would have never thought it would end in such a way... i would recommend this book to anyone who likes drama and suspense...

I even had dreams of what was going on in the book if i read before bed LOL :)

I read Dirty Truth after I read Naughty and I'm now waiting on Naughty 2. I read a lot, but never felt that an author was so good that I wanted to post reviews for the book. Brenda's books are soooo interesting and I could not put this one down. I had to find out who killed that man's woman! I couldn't believe who the killer was and boy was I fooled. The book was so fast paced and it had me rushing through the pages to find out every move that was made. Another great book by my newly found favorite author.

Brandon Fletcher's beloved Cassandra White is brutally murdered and he's obsessed in finding the murderer. However, Brandon didn't know Cassandra was hiding a secret; she was having an affair with a thug-like policeman named Jabbar Booker. Jabbar has become a thorn in Brandon's side, harassing and intimidating him. Could Jabbar be the murderer or could it be Aunt Ruby, the beneficiary to Cassandra's life insurance? The closer Brandon is to finding the truth, someone tries to stop him.

Brandon begins to date his co-worker, Evelyn, because she reminds him of Cassandra. Their relationship is a rollercoaster ride and Evelyn becomes uncomfortable and wants to end it. But can she?

THE DIRTY TRUTH is a psychological thriller with steamy sex and lots of drama. I wished the ending was more detailed, nevertheless, I was speechless. Although THE DIRTY TRUTH is a different style of writing Ms. Hampton is known for, her fans will enjoy it.

Brandon Fletcher is grieving for Cassandra White, the love of his life. She was murdered and Brandon is determined to learn the truth, no matter how painful the process is. While life must go on, Jabbar Booker, the other man is Cassandra's life, has become like cancer to him. Then, just as Brandon has moved forward he meets Evelyn. Could she be just what the doctor ordered?

A search for the truth leads to finger pointing, daily harassment and incriminating circumstances. When an arrest is finally made in the murder, Brandon, while still doubtful, seems relieved. However, Evelyn and Cassandra may have a little too much in common. As the lies slowly unravel, can Brandon consider even playing second in Evelyn's world after all he's endured?

Admittedly, I was stumped and determined to figure out the mystery surrounding the murder. I have to say that I was a little shocked, but not as blown away as I thought I would be. THE DIRTY TRUTH, though filled with steamy sex, drama and mystery, is a little clumsy and the ending leaves you a little bitter. I would've liked more as far as the ending. Seemed too neat; while it did offer some sort of an explanation, there was just missing something. I believe fans of Brenda M. Hampton will undoubtedly enjoy THE DIRTY TRUTH. It was a different flow from what I'm accustomed to in regards to the author's style and I look forward to more soon.

Brenda Hampton does it again with "The Dirty Truth".

In this story we meet thirty something Brandon Fletcher who is still reeling from the death of the love of his life, Cassandra. Who would hurt Cassandra? Brandon will not rest until he finds her killer. Is it her secret lover Jabaar? Or what about her eccentric Aunt Ruby who is the benificiary of her life insurance?

Brandon finds support in his boy Will and co worker turned lover Evelyn. However Cassandra's death continues to haunt Brandon becauase Jabaar won't leave him alone and Evelyn won't go along with the kinky sex Cassandra and Brandon used to enjoy.

The ending of this book had my jaw hitting the floor! The revelation of Cassandra's killer will SHOCK readers!!

This is a sho nuff must read for all Brenda Hampton fans!!

I could not wait to read this book, because I love me some Brenda Hampton. This book was such a disappointment. I have everything she has written and they all were wonderful. I don't know what happened with this one, but I was really surprised, because her books usually have you hooked from the first page. I will continue to support her and advise my friends to buy all her books other than this one. I am sorry Brenda,you know I got nothing, but love for you, but this one was not good. Hopefully your next one will be, like your previous books.

The novel, The Dirty Truth by Brenda Hampton is a suspenseful and intriguing novel that will keep any reader on their toes! I found this book to be very exciting and will continue to read more novels by Brenda in the future!

The characters in this novel, Brandon Fletcher is determined to find the murder responsible for his fiancee', Cassandra death and in the process he tends to find out more then he can actually handle. Cassandra was not exactly faithful to Brandon at which he is too naive to believe but discovers that she was also involved with a gentleman, Jabbar that is actually on the mission similar to his in order to find a resolution for Cassandra's death. Little to be known, Brandon has a major problem of his own that seems to spiral out of control at which he unable to control. Will Brandon discover the truth about Cassandra and her death to move on with his life?

This novel did not contain any grammatical errors which is absolutely wonderful, Good job! I really enjoyed reading the ending which included a twist that made me re-read the final chapter several times to confirm I understood. I cannot think of anything I disliked about this novel and must say, It was a GOOD read! I will continue to support the author, Brenda Hampton as she continues to write more intriguing novels in the future!
