Having followed and enjoyed Disalmanac on the social telegraph, I was terrified and hungry by the prospect of a Disalmanac book with real paper pages.
I was not to be disappointed; the pages are pagey, the facts are facty, and the laughs are laughy. Buy this book, or be a disgrace to your family and a burden to your friends. You won't be disappointed.

"Disalmanac" is chock-full of fact-like facts that may not help you at trivia night but will make you laugh for hours. You'll love the charts and the Random Bonus Facts from famous contributors like Neil Gaiman, Wil Wheaton and Caissie St. Onge. You can read it through if you like, or sample from it randomly for a quick laugh. Good stuff.

This book of fact like facts is very amusing. If you want to sort of know about diverse subjects while laughing then this book is for you. Also, if you're like me, and your first name is Richard, you can safely read it without the almanac stealing all your money, which is more than I can say for the one by that jerk Ben Franklin. So in conclusion, buy this book. And if you see Benny Franks around anywhere, tell him I'm coming after him.

Many of the random facts and inventive takes on world history presented in Disalmanac were hysterical. It was well worth the dirty looks that my wife and I got for our nonstop laughing while reading it on the subway home.

Life without Scott Bateman's fact-like facts is not a life I want to live. This dude is seriously clever and manages to make a book of fact facts that is not gimmicky at all. I thought I was going to sit down and browse through this before doing something that was actually related to furthering my own survival, but instead I wound up actually reading through most of the book in a book-like way. While there are a few contemporary references here and there, the book will definitely be just as culturally reverent a few years from now while still being as enjoyably factually irrelevant and irreverent. I mean, I read through this and I can't believe how much he came up with and how effortless it seems.

Buy the book for yourself, buy it for friends, follow Disalmanac on Twitter, and commit yourself to being the life-like life of the party.
