Highly entertaining for young listeners ages 8 and older,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Disappearing TV Star: Library Edition (Raven Hill Mysteries (Bolinda)) (Audio CD)
Richelle is delighted when the Teen Power gang is hired to be extras in a TV commercial for a new candy bar called "The Lot". This could be her big break, her chance to get into modeling or even the movies! But her plans for this glamourous and promising new job didn't foresee getting mixed up with the spoiled teenage millionaire TV star Cassandra Cass! Superbly narrated by Rebecca Macauley and flawlessly recorded on 3 CDs with a title running time of 3 hours, 15 minutes, The Disappearing TV Star is a superbly crafted and original mystery-adventure by Emily Rodda and is an ideal addition to school and community library audiobook collections as being highly entertaining for young listeners ages 8 and older. Also enthusiastically recommended from Bolinda are Darrel and Sally Odger's Jack Russell: Dog Detective in the Dog Den Mystery (1740937635, $18.00, 1 CD, 45 minutes, narrator Alan King, ages 8 and older).
