Editorial Reviews

Review

"...a very good metaphysical poet... Son of the second generation New York School, dealing with echoes of his own making... Who accepts the whole picture as his charge..." -- BILL BERKSON

"With a perspective sharpened daily in every American morning, and then turned on its ear, Edmund Berrigan translates what we can't quite put our finger on, and gives us back a raw, pure, lyric of disclosure." -- MAUREEN OWEN

This review is from: Disarming Matter (Paperback)
Disarming Matter does just that, in an elegant and befuddling manner. This book is a joy to get tweaked on. It is full of unexpected leaps of gorgeous weirdness. A true antidote to the stale nature of pop literature, and especially pop poetry. Take this book on a picnic to the park, to the zoo, to the cannery, to the dahlia garden- and watch it bloom in comparison!
