1.0 out of 5 stars early enviro bashing, January 4, 2004
This review is from: The Disaster Lobby: Prophets of Ecological Doom and Other Absurdities (Hardcover)
The authors (Thomas Shepard as well as Melvin Grayson) take on a number of "liberal" causes, especially environmentalism and consumer advocacy. This book (and others) set the tone for later works, using methods such as name calling (environmentalists are "irate fish-worshipers" and "professional nature lovers") and questionable science.
