I learned a lesson on this one. Never buy without a prview or who the artist is. The songs are redone and not redone well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Must-have for DJs and MCs, January 9, 2007

This review is from: Disc Jockey Traditionals 1 (Audio CD)
This CD is chock-full of songs any DJ or MC will need at some point for receptions (wedding and otherwise) and some parties. Songs include the traditional wedding processional ("Here Comes the Bride") and recessional (Mendelssohn's "Wedding March") as well as "The Bride Cuts the Cake" (to the tune of "the Farmer In the Dell"). Traditional ethnic favorites are also included ("Havah Nagila," "Tarantella," "Mexican Hat Dance," and "Sunrise Sunset" [from Fiddler on the Roof]). Other favorites which can get a crowd (especially an older crowd) to participate on the dance floor include "Sweet Georgia Brown," the "Chicken Dance" and a version of "Alley Cat" that speeds up its tempo as the song progresses. Note: these are not performed by the original artists, but sound just fine. Don't pass up this CD if you plan on being a DJ. The music's corny, but let's face it..."Corny" goes over big at weddings!
