Francis Frangipane has a burden for America and her cities. Like David Wilkerson, Rich Wilkerson, and Kenneth Hagin, he has picked up the mantle of prophet and interceeds with God for souls, cities, and nations.

Frangipane has emerged as the spiritual drill sergeant of the spiritual warriors of our time.

"Discerning of Spirits" is a simple, short summary of key principles regarding the oft-misunderstood gift of discernment. In "The Three Battlegrounds", I think, Frangipane writes that "discernment without love is merely critical judgement." And he picks up that theme here. Like the other gifts of the Spirit, discernment operates in love. Anything less is hypocrisy and nothing more than a critical judging spirit.

In the end, our pursuit is being conformed to the image of Christ: "Christ-likeness is the goal, not warfare." Frangipane gets it right and this booklet is a helpful reminder of the important guideposts along the journey.

His signature theme on the topic of spiritual warfare is: "Victory begins with the name of Jesus on our lips. It is consummated by the nature of Jesus in our hearts."

Note: This is a 26 page booklet - useful for Bible studies - not a major text on the topic.

This book is very informative and easy to understand. I like the notes section on each page. I found the information to be easy reading and always refered back to the Bible. Truths were explained clearly and I learned a lot from reading this book. I recommend it to anyone who has been deceived by the devil. This book brings power with understanding.

The only reason this gets a 4 is because it is not a book - it's a pamphlet. I paid rush shipping which turned out to be 3x more than the cost.....which I probably could have found out by reading a little more...lol

If you have the gift of discernment, get this book---it will explain quite alot---about you and whether you are truly discerning, i.e. motives, what's really in your heart when you think you're being shown something. That's all I can say because I don't want to give it away. It's really short, but not a quick read because it makes you think, pray, and avoid quick judgments.

It is said with understand, comes power and I believe this is true in the spiritual world as well as the natural. In Rev. Frangipane's work he gives you understanding in discernment, explains spiritual aspects in easy to understand terms so you may apply these principals in your spiritual walk. I believe this book will be a great help to many.

I read the whole book in 30 minutes. It's like a leaflet, pamphlet, or starter reader on learning surface information about the discernment of spirits. After you read the book you will be thirsty for more information on the topic and feel like you need to read another book as a follow up. It reads like the introduction to a chapter book, and leaves you with this feeling in which you are ready to read the rest of the book but---where is it?

Excellent/ It was so good I read it twice then I passed it on to bless and enourage someone else. Excellent. It was to the point and dealt with the inner spirit man. Awsome. I intend to purchase other Books, by Francis Frangipane. Excellent. I really enjoyed reading it.

This was a great book. it helped me to understand all the different types of spirits and what to look for. really enjoyed this book.

I was very disappointed with quality and content of the book, In fact, I googled the same info with better outcome and returned the book. It was not enough meat on the bone to hold your attention for a pamphlet.

This book was a wonderful book to read when you are trying to figure out whether you are hearing from God or the flesh. I would say that all those who are going to go through any kind of spiritual warfare need to read this book.

It was fast reading and understandable, but it wasn't as deep as I had hoped.
