Thanks for taking the time to read this review. I'll try and keep this short and sweet.

I've found that Disciples 2 and all of it's expansions are perfect for the people who are looking to do a little light gaming. The fact that they are all turn based strategies makes it great for when you want to game while doing those around the house chores. They...

2.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your time. Fatal bugs.
I found that the game has fatal bugs in it that are impossible to work around. In some scenarios in the campaign there are ruins you have to enter and if you kill a certain monster, which you have to of course, the game crashes to the desk top every time no matter what variation you try.

They storyline is fair and the graphics better than average (hence the 4-Star overall rating) but it's all made up in gameplay and game features. To give a quick examples, one of the smarter features implemented into the games is their ability to transfer heroes over from one expansion to another. This was fantastic for me as I tend to get really attached to my favorite hero (or heroine).

In short, i've purchased all of the expansions for this game and have been more than happy with them. The game overall is very enjoyable and if you're a fan of TBS (Turn-Based Strategies) then you'll love this. Although the game is a bit older, you just can't pass up 1 great game along with two of it's expansions for $20. Fantastic buy. Trust me, you'll love it.

I really enjoyed the music, the game play, the graphics were very good for it's time. The bundle is worth it as all the expnasions, including rise of the elves is in it. I can't recomend this game enough because of the VERY engaging story line, the narration is excellent between boards. The voice overs, especially for the dwarves is quiet entertaining. Of course I would have liked individual bgm's for each of the races when they are about moving on the board, but that is addressed somewhat as each of the groups have their own themes at their capital. I like the various ways replay value is done. You can experiemeant with each of the various unit upgrade paths to find which is right for what you need to do. I can only tell you to avoid staying up to late playing this game as it can get repitive a little bit but there is enough one map quests to help break the boredom and change things up a bit. If that isn't enough, one can make one's own map with the handy map editor. Highly recommend for staregist.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a game! What a deal!, April 19, 2007

Excellent turn based strategy that is even better than final fantasy tactics. This game is challenging even on easy mode. Computer AI is good. Storyline is excellent. Full game with all the expansions for $[...]! Well pleased with my purchase. I can see this game having well over 100 hours of playtime from beginning to end. And that might just be with one race! The combinations and strategy makes it have great replay value

Great game. But I found that it could be boring and very hard in part of the game and you real must use the magic spell etc... To get more fun out of the game. For me am a go get with very little use of magic. Have me magic weapos, armor, ring etc. so I to do the job.

This is a great game if you really enjoy the turn based role playing games (rpg) and if your not into rpgs, Disciples II or even Disciples I would be a great choice to try out for your PC.

Even if you don't play the campaign, which is mostly what people buy these games for, the combat system is more like something you would expect in a game from 10 or 15 years ago.

It's too bad because it could have been a much better game with a very small amount of work. Developers should try playing some other games in the genre before they release these things.
