What. In the world!? I honestly think that was the first thought that went through my head as I started to read this book. Yoyin is... beyond words! Saying that she's as spoiled as a banana in Africa in August wouldn't come close to describing this woman. Allison has taken her dysfunctional, sexually maladjusted, crazy women drama to a new level with this chick! She thinks, acts, performs, talks, and just KNOWS the world needs to bow down and obey her. Fortunately for Yoyin because she's extremely rich, good looking, and sexually uninhibited... it usually does. She orders people around like she's the queen of Queen B. and you can't help but laugh (and cringe) at some of her Jennifer Lopez-like demands.

Yoyin is also sexually dangerous. I don't mean sexually dangerous like Stacey Dash in stilettos holding a can of whipped cream and wearing a "come do me smile". :-) No. I mean sexually dangerous like Mike Tyson who just got out of jail after 10 years and was stuck on an island with that Stacey Dash babe I was just talking about! Anyway...Yoyin gets a ticket of sorts to come to an island that will fulfill all of her sexual desires. She sets off and begins a journey that will have you wondering. I say wondering because it seems to me that as sexually free as Yoyin was; she was NEVER satisfied. Maybe THAT was the reason for her insane behavior.

Either way, I *almost* felt sorry for her. She is a tortured soul that was begging for pleasure/release but didn't know how to go about it the correct way. Yoyin is introduced to people, places, and things that help her to "get there". The interesting part about her journey is WHO she meets and WHAT they do. This also wouldn't be a true Allison Hobbs novel if there wasn't a WTF type twist in here. Well guess what? There are two! One had me scratching my head because not only did it come from left field, but I didn't even know I was in the ballpark! The other one... the other one was so bad that I, literally, had to stop reading because the pain of the character was too real. Way to real.

`Disciplined' had the brutal and frank sexuality that I've come to love from Allison but it wasn't her "usual" brutal and frank sexuality. I've been trying to pinpoint what it is and I can't. If I had to guess it would be because Yoyin wasn't sexually sated that left me wanting as well. If it doesn't make sense, sorry. I don't how else to explain it because like I said I'm not 100% sure either. All I know is that this is another one of Allison Hobbs freaky pieces of work and you would do yourself some good by getting some... I mean "it"... getting it! :-)

**On a personal note**. I just want to say that Allison Hobbs is an author who I have grown to love and appreciate. There is no greater joy for a book lover than to write one of your favorite authors and then have them write you back. I don't mean some standard form "Thank you for reading one of my books" type letter either. I mean actually taking the time to read, answer, and hold a mini-conversation with you. THAT is class and THAT is Allison Hobbs. I wrote her after her first book `Pandora's Box' was released and we've enjoyed a friendly relationship ever since. Keep in mind that this woman has more deadlines than most publishing houses, but she always finds the time to say hello if I write. That means more to me than she will ever, EVER know. Sista' could never work at the Post Office though (wink) hahahahahahahahahahaha but I will forever love this lady. Ok, enough of that sappy crap; quit reading this review and get down to your local bookstore and get this book!

Yoyin is a spoiled, egotistical socialite who indulges in excessive sexual carnage. No sexual act is forbidden, as long as she gets the ultimate gratification. Yoyin is so self-absorbed she keeps two men at her beck and call for her needs, as well as the go between with regular people and herself. When she is alone after a rapturous night with her lovers, she finds an invitation to a resort to have all her sexual desires met. Being as selfish as she is, Yoyin cannot wait to experience nonstop sex, but what she discovers is far beyond sexual gratification.

DISCIPLINED is one of Strebor's Quickiez publications, short erotic stories one can read at one sitting. The story had an unbalanced feel about it. The plot seemed to be going in one direction and suddenly near the end, it changed course. I expected to see a more pronounced showing of what being disciplined was about. The main character was unlikable and the strange paranormal moment near the end just didn't seem plausible and was out of place. Honestly, the majority of the story was different sexual escapades and then near the end, the plot of the story was revealed, but it was a little too late. The erotic moments are the propelling events for the story and made the story interesting and entertaining, but the ending just didn't seem right.

Yoyin is a spoiled heiress who always gets what she wants, especially when it comes to her wild sexual fantasies. She even has two male servants that cater to her every whim at the drop of a dime. Yoyin thinks that she will get to live her deepest hedonistic fantasies when she receives an invitation to a beautiful island. She soon finds out that trip is not just for her own pleasure but to learn a life lesson designed specifically for her. Will she become a willing participant, or will she just give in to her own desires?

Disciplined is an intriguing novella by Allison Hobbs. Hobbs takes the reader on a journey into the life of a privileged young woman. Yoyin is a character that you will definitely dislike from the start of this story but ultimately sympathize with by the end of the book. Hobbs did a wonderful job of showing how a dangerous ancient practice affected Yoyin's destructive, wanton behavior. You will see how her time on the island will change her life forever. Disciplined has a healthy dose of steamy sex and drama that will be a sure delight for any erotica fan.

Author Allison Hobbs introduces her readers to Yoyin Ayikade, a rich, spoiled, nymphomaniac woman who is use to having people at her beck and call and getting her own way. Instead of being grateful to be able to afford the finer things in life she treats everybody like dirt.

Yoyin receives an anonymous invitation to visit the beautiful private Island of Ka-le'a where as the invitation says "your strongest desires come to blazing life with just one wish."
Yoyin is in her glory thinking once she reaches the Island all her freaky sexual desires will be fulfilled.
What she didn't count on was being on an Island where she is told what to do and nobody listens to her demands! This takes some getting use to from this spoiled rich girl ... but she is about to experience something deeper and more satisfying.

Will Yoyin give in to the hypnotic teachings on the Island and learn how to put her past behind her and live for the future? Or will she be held hostage by her insatiable sexual yearnings?

Ms Hobbs dishes up her classic trade mark of sexual erotic adventures, which is always a treat for her fans. I sympathize with the character on what happened to her sister, but Yoyin was just too damn mean!!
As always Allison draws her reader's right into the story making it hard for us to dismiss her characters even if we don't like them.

To be disciplined......is a huge statement and Yoni had no discipline at all, being a spolied & rich gave her all the luxuries in the world and them some. Her fetish for shoes and pain were very over the top......Unitl the invite came to the mystery Island "Ka-le'a". There she is given pleasures that she could never imagine. Ms Hobbs once again takes you on an eroctic journey that only she can, makes you want to sit by and wait for the mail for or invite to the mystery island.(lol) The passion seems surreal like this is realing going on, yes it is!!! Enjoy

After Reading this quickie I was amazed with allison Hobbs imagination! Her Character Yoyin was spoiled and Rich. she had a fetish for pain when it came to being pleased. She was invited to an island called "Ka-le'a" where she is showed she can be pleased with out pain. I must say this Quickie was a page turner I could not out it downn I was very impressed.

Yoyin Ayikade is a spoiled heiress. When she receives an anonymous invitation to the beautiful island of Ka-le'a, to what she believes is going to be a fun filled weekend, where she thinks all her darkest desires will be fulfilled. What she will soon discover is something so much more...an "awakening."

Like a cat in heat, Yoyin is on a mission for sexual satisfaction. Unfortunately the only way Yoyin seems to be satisfied is if it is rough...the rougher the better. Yoyin soon realizes that sexual satisfaction comes at a price.

Will she be able to recognize that the invitation was all part of a deeper plan than to just fulfill her sexual appetite or will she just give in to her libido and ignore the self discovery that is waiting for her to look at?

DISCIPLINED by Allison Hobbs was a great read. It was an adults only read with a fairy tale ending. The sex scenes in the story were steamy and erotic. Allison Hobbs writes some freaky yet vivid sexual scenes. She should be crowned the "Queen of Erotica" after this read. DISCIPLINED makes for a great summer read. These Strebor Quickiez just get better and better.
