I've just finished this incredible and disturbing book, although it's been out for a few years now. As someone who, like other reviewers, has read countless books on UFOs, alternative energy as well as government misdeeds, none have resonated like this one. The credibility of those interviewed is beyond reproach. No wonder the mainstream media won't touch it. The manufactured and well-cultivated derision heaped upon those who have an interest in these subjects (UFOs and alternative energy) simply will not work in discrediting those courageous individuals who have come forward in the Disclosure Project.
For those who are interested in acquiring more detailed information about UFO sightings and the role of the military regarding the phenomenon, Disclosure will provide much new information. The real value of this critically important work, however, is to put into sharp focus just how reprehensible and truly dangerous those who have manipulated and controlled information about this matter have been. I totally agree with Charles Balogh: this book needs to be disseminated as widely as possible. I intend to buy several copies to that end. This book is not simply one to satisfy UFO buffs. The import of what Dr. Greer has amassed has direct and clear implication for the survival of the planet. When one reads it, then the semi-literate (he must have flunked English) and feeble attempt by people like `aerospace exec' to denigrate this vital work will be readily seen for what it is. Do yourself and the world a big favor: read this book.

Has there been a government cover-up regarding UFOs? This book definitively answers that question, and the answer is YES. Dr. Greer and his team have personally interviewed hundreds of professionals who held positions within the military, government, and defense contract industries -- people who had first-hand encounters with UFOs, secret projects involving UFOs, reverse-engineered technology, and/or who experienced the cover-up of this information. This book is a transcript of some of those interviews. And these aren't just ANY witnesses; their statements ought to be trustworthy - many of them are high-ranking military, for example. It is impressive to see so many detailed accounts all in one place, attached to specific names, dates, and places. After examining the contents of this book, I don't see how anyone could continue to believe that there is nothing going on here.

Even if you are already convinced that the U.S. and other governments and the news media have been lying and withholding information about UFOs, it is worth buying the book just for Dr. Greer's analysis of exactly WHAT is being kept secret and WHY. Out of all the theories I've ever read that attempt to explain the reasons for an official cover-up, this one is by far the best and makes the most sense. And it is vitally important information that everyone should know, whether they have an interest in UFOs and E.T.s or not.

This book is actually more of a compendium of eyewitness testimony from whistleblowers. Although somewhat long and covering a myriad of topics, it is even more appropriate today than back in May of 2001 when it was published. The most amazing is the plan to keep escalating the U.S. military budget to more and more absurd levels. Without the Soviets as the manufactured threat any more, phase two was implemented: the war on terrorism with Islam as the next big "enemy." Due to the fact that this was planned years before any of these current events is certainly very chilling. And the next plan, while seeming incredible, is perfectly logical to their paranoid fantasies and profitable to their bottom line.

A powerhouse of a book that is virtually unique in its scope and in the way it tackles the issues head on. There will still be those who claim to doubt Greer's conclusions and even the existence of Aliens, but who cares?

The skeptics and their infantile resistance are now completely irrelevant. The existence of Aliens, to use a catch-all term, is a no-brainer - it is not in question.

The question is, can we deal with the full implications of Disclosure?

It is one thing to begin to introduce the previously suppressed New Technologies in order to help out the human race and accelerate the healing of the planet, but quite another to come clean about the full extent of the Alien presence.

Way back in the sixties, the Brookings Institute concluded that the human race was just too primitive and spiritually immature to deal with the introduction of an Alien race, however benign. Many UFO buffs have dismissed those findings, because they themselves were totally ready for Contact. I agree. Most UFO buffs ARE ready, and have been for decades.

And then there's the rest of humanity.

The burning of Harry Potter books - a children's fantasy - was a very serious reminder that even the slightest threat to certain people's religious belief systems can trigger madness. And if you think that was just a few nuts, think again.

Real live Aliens, with their archetypally demonic appearance are a little up the scale from Joanne Rowling's roly-poly fictional characters.

Yes, the human race has a right to know, but whether they should be told at this point in their evolution, is quite another matter. Believe me, the control groups who have had direct Contact have not fared very well, and the idea of unleashing a Pandora's Box of global hysteria - a one-way thing - has to be taken very seriously.

Before anybody thinks I am spouting Disinformation, nothing could be further from the truth. We just need to approach the idea of letting the humans into the light with extreme caution. Steven has written a remarkable book, but the greatest emphasis now needs to be on how do we approach final Disclosure, and more importantly, when.

After the insult of the Roswell denials, many of us are just itching for the Government to come clean and admit to their vast catalog of lies. But not at any price, guys. It can't be at any price.

One of the best books in the Alien/UFO cover-up genre! Besides 'Disclosure', try Dr. Paul Hill's "Unconventional Flying Objects", "Alien Rapture" by Edgar Fouche and Brad Steiger (who wrote the origional 'Project Blue Book'), "The Day After Roswell" by Colonel Corso (Presidental Staff member), and "Alien Agenda" by Jim Marrs (Author of 'Crossfire' - another bestseller).

I know and have talked to Steven Greer and he is a truthful man who has spent his life trying to uncover the truth of the Alien/UFO cover-up.

Stevem Greer has wrote probaly the best ufo related book in the recent few years with Disclosure. It is frightning as you have to stop and remind yourself this is not fiction but a truthful account of our brave men and women serving this country in the military and the private sector who's reward for service in the above top secret world is intimidation and DOD blacklisting to maintain the status quo.

These individul accounts of our Government hiding alien technology from the public in illegal fashion using and hiding behind nation security acts is quite an eye opener. You will never look at History again in the same fashion after reading this book. Read the reviews on the books I've mentioned and you will be compelled to read them if you want the most accurate information in this genre. (EF)

If you are anything like I am and find this subject matter interesting and entertaining, prepare your self for a shocker. After reading various books in this matter, I find this one to be significantly different from the rest. First let me warn you if you want to read up on wild theories and reacquaint your self with old overtold ufo tales and accounts, go find another book, there are many out there to keep you entertained. Now! If you are intereted in reading up on a multitude of sworn written statements and accounts of worldwide professionals, scientists, military and non-military personel regarding the UFO issue then this is the book that you want. NO Sci-Fi thriller, No wild theories, NO pandering to the readers, solid statements and solid facts. You can practically jump arround the book and find mind blowing depositions by intelligent, credible people regarding this issue. My only wish is for someone from a media channel in the likes of Discovery or Nova to jump on the opporunity to publicise the videotaped interviews which Greer and his band of crusaders have in their possecion. Maybe this would light a flame under some of our politicians and the public atlarge to look into this matter, but that is my opinion. Regardless, it is an interesting piece of journalism more than anythingelse.

This is the book to read if you only read one book this year. It is a must-read for all Americans, and for all the world. Dr. Greer has done a masterful job in bringing together credible and knowledgeable leaders in their various fields, to testify as to the existence of extraterrestrials who have been visiting earth for hundreds, if not thousands of years. The truth of this fact has been kept from the public by a world-wide shadow government for their own purposes, including exploitation of advanced technology obtained from the extraterrestrials. This technology could change the world as we know it, providing free energy, advanced medicine, and ultimately world-wide peace. It is time that this information was disclosed to the public. This is Dr. Greer's mission in writing this book.

I have known Dr. Greer for over five years and heard him talk about this testimony and the Disclosure Project goals before his famous press conference in May of 2001 and the publishing of this book. I have yet to see any more credible treatise on the reality of UFO's to date. What must be remembered is that since this book was published, the number of witnesses has increased and they continue to go on the record through the Disclosure Project. The fact that no major news organization took the step of or had the cajones to bring this story forward to the general public is testament to its veracity. The testimony contained within Disclosure should be front page news on every paper in the country. Why isn't it? Because it's too hot to handle and those who wish to see it swept under the rug will do all they possibly can to see to it that it never makes it into the mainstream.

Recently, Dr. Greer provided Peter Jennings and ABC News with a wealth of info from this book and more for the special, "UFOs: Seeing Is Believing." Their premise was that they wanted to blow the lid off the whole subject with clear and unambiguous testimony from expert witnesses. The result? Not one iota, not one modicum of the material was used by Jennings et al. Incredibly, Dr. Greer's work and his organization wasn't even mentioned. How can one of the most serious efforts at unveiling UFO secrecy be totally ignored like this? Precisely because it is what it is, the "truth."

For those who are tired of media consolidation and control of what hits the airwaves and the print media, this book should be a bible. Get a copy, get two, three, or more. Put them in your public libraries, beauty salons, barbershops, whatever! This information needs to be heard, period!

Still under the impression that UFO's don't exist? "Disclosure" will dispel any lingering doubts you may have. Multiple military, intelligence, scientific, government and corporate witnesses to ET events speak their minds and reveal some of the most startling information you are ever likely to hear.

Author Dr Steven Greer presents highly informative interviews with the witnesses, backed up with a selection of government documents to bolster the case.

The book also includes a selection of Dr Greer's position papers on just how it has been possible to keep this revelatory information secret for the last half-century and the agenda that that has fuelled the cover-up.

If the information contained in this book doesn't make you demand answers from your government, you are probably dead from the neck up.

This book is the most important and comprehensive volume on these issues (Alien Intelligence, UFOs, Extraterrestrial Technology, and 'Black' Government Projects) that I have ever seen, and I'm sure I am likely to ever see.

Dr. Greer and the very impressive host of witnesses whose information he brings to light should be commended for this most courageous of human acts. To deny the raw truths contained in this smoking expose would be very dfficult. There are extremely credible witnesses with very important information to impart to us all and I for one am glad of their efforts.

Some witnesses include, former Brigadere Generals of the U.S. Navy, actual stewards of America's nuclear weapons systems, and well known former U.S. astronauts. Consider for a moment the types of rigorous training in sober minded observation and mental acuity that are required to even get your 'foot in the door' of being considered for those three positions (the psych evaluation for stewarding nuclear payloads is extremely rigorous I can assure you). Keep in mind now, that eye-witness testimony is sufficient in United States law to commit convicted criminals to the gas chamber, yet because of the sensitive nature of this testimony we cannot entertain the eye-witness testimonies of some of America's finest men and women of service and conviction? I find that intellectually insulting...

Think about it...then buy this book, because it will certainly provide you with a great deal more food for thought...
