This collection of new and old "disco" sounds is a wonderful trip back in time to Studio One in L.A., or The Saint dance club in NYC, in the "good old days" of early to mid 1970's. A great time to be young and full energy.

It's $15 or 16 bucks, how can you go wrong. Enjoy!

So far I have purchased this set and Pink Pounders in the Disco Discharge series. The sound quality is excellent and the liner notes are very well done. Lots of music here that fits the title. There's nothing more i hate then buying a collection that has songs that don't even belong on that collection.
All of the selections are hi nrg classics and some are substantially longer tracks than others but most all are the club version 12" mix of one kind or another. Also of note both cd's are packed with music disc one comes in at 78 minutes and disc 2 at 79 minutes so you definitely get a lot of bang for the buck. Just trying to find one or two twelve inch singles alone of these tunes would cost you more than the set. Great job guys!

I have been searching from some of these tunes on CD for years. Vivian Vee's "Give me a Break" and Yvonne Kay's (who is actually Spagna) "Rise Up for your Love" are worth buying the CD for. This is a great collection of Euro Disco. Kudos to the producer. You made this man very happy. Jeff in Los Angeles.

As a product of the 70's and 80's I feel very qualified to comment on this disc. It's a pleasure to listen to over and over. The songs are hot and the tonal quality lends itself to playing it with the top down with friends in the car. ENJOY!

The music sample/previews for this CD are all just the first 30 seconds of the song. Music and no vocals at all. Most disco songs have long intros for the DJ's to mix. How is the listener supposed to tell anything from a 30 second generic instrumental intro? Would someone please be a little more thoughtful and start the sample/preview further into the song preferably a part with the vocals? It seems that you might actually make more money and sell more of these Disco-Discharge compilations. They all get great reviews and kudos for being great but "hard to find" music. It's a shame that one can't tell almost anything from the samples.
