5.0 out of 5 stars Solid 2nd CD!, September 23, 2007
This review is from: The Disco and the What Not LTD (Audio CD)
Once again, Rupesh Cartel comes with catchy synth that gets better with every listen. My favorite song being "About Denial", you get a few remixes of this song on the bonus 2nd disc.
Definitely a must buy if you enjoyed the first album

Infectious is a great way to describe it. Can't help but sing along while walking down the street with my iPod on even though other people can hear me. Very catchy, fun, great melodic structure. These guys deserve a wide audience.

I loved their first cd and really looked forward to this new one. Well, I was not disappointed at all. It continues in the same fashion with uptemto, infectious tracks. After 1 listen the chorus's were stuck in my head and the cd as a whole really grew on me. I recommended this cd for sure.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my two favorite purchases this year, July 6, 2010

I buy lots and lots of electronic music, most falling in the New Wave/Synthpop/Electropop/Futurepop/EBM range.

If you enjoy this kind of music, I recommend *The Disco and the What Not* very heartily. This snazzy album--along with And One's sublime *Bodypop*--counts as one of my two favorite acquisitions this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best album so far, December 18, 2009

Both Mainland and Anchor Baby are fine albums, but it's The Disco and The What Not that represents the finest effort of Rupesh Cartel to-date. I prefer mostly the original tracks, but most of the remixes end up fun to listen to as well.

Top tracks include: The Disco and The What Not, About Denial, and Ghost White. Another four tracks are easy club hits. And the remaining few are solid, if not pretty good. All in all, great record.
