This is my first conscious exposure to the artist Jes. I do remember the track by Motorcycle 'As the Rush Comes' which featured Jes as the vocalist. And while the track itself was memorable, it was Jes' name that did not stick out. Now, Jes has an image and a face with this new album under her own name.

I love it! At first, I thought, oh no, another one-time dance diva with little vocal range and generic lyrics. But as I began to listen, the catalogue of tracks is actually pretty diverse in vocal range, tempo, style, and songwriting. There are some trancy pop tracks indeed, such as 'Ghost', 'Heaven', and 'You and Me Belong'. However, I think her strongest tracks lie in the downtempo tracks 'Want My Love', 'Stronger', 'Disconnect', and 'See You Soon'. These are my fave songs on the album, though other listeners have a more appreciation for the trance tracks.

This CD is FIERCE! AMAZING vocals! Beautuful lyrics! Gorgeous Trance-Electro Rock! If you love Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, this CD is a must!

I love this CD! I came on to pre-order a new CD of hers and found this one! What a great range of songwriting and vocal style. I thought she was just a "dance" vocalist but this CD really proved me wrong. She has the chops to really break the mold in electronica!!

If your a fan of Dj Tiesto and his music, than you will lover her. She sings vocal on alot of his mixes and now she has her own CD. She does not disappoint with smooth sexy tracks with upbeat tempos. She also has another CD called Jes, In To The Dawn which is down tempo with "lime chill mixes" and is lyrically impressive. Jes, Disconnect 9 out of 10 , Jes, In To The Dawn 10 out of 10

Jes is one of the best female vocalists I've heard, and it's great that she finally released her own work. I love this CD from start to finish, most of the songs I'd heard previously, and the new ones are just as good. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves, and proves the world that she doesn't need to work with overrated DJs, it's her voice what makes her unique.

Great new artist, more dance and electronic then pop, which rocks. Bought on Itunes and cant get enough!

I just got this CD and it is a fabulous addition to my collection.
The vocals are very well done and lyrics are well written.

These songs are too disjointed for me. I only like Ghost and Disconnect. She sounds much better when mixed by Tiesto. Overall just and average debut.
