Everything a rock CD should be,
By Michael L. Farrell (Salisbury, Maryland United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Disconnected (Audio CD)
It was cool to find so many good reviews of the only album of my favorite underground rock band. The Buzzhorn have one of the most original sounds that I've heard in a really long time. I first was introduced to this band when my best friend sent me "pinned to the ground" over the internet. I was so impressed that I downloaded some other tracks and eventually just went and bought the album. From the clever lyrics, pounding drums, and screaming guitars to the awesome vocals; Buzzhorn just plain kicks a$$.==Favorite tracks== Also, this band did have a previous unreleased album. I don't have all the songs from it but "Heavy 100" & "Down Below" are two awesome songs that I wouldn't be suprised to see on a later album.

One of the best CD's in my collection,
By Mobius (a box under the 22 freeway) - See all my reviews

This CD has been in my car for the last week straight. I never get tired of listening to this CD. I have been hard-pressed to find a better CD where I can enjoy every single song without having to skip from song to song. The song transitions from slow to fast to hard to medium to slow again blend well. You never hear a song and think, "That shouldn't go after this song, that's too much of a change."I must confess I heard this band while playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (See also Hot Action Cop), and I was hooked on the song "Ordinary" like a pimp on cash. This is a great CD, and definitely worth a listen if you're a fan of such bands as Nickelback, Fuel, Bush, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, Course of Nature (also a killer band), and a whole crapload of other bands. These guys simply rock, no matter what your favorite flavor of music is. 5 stars for sure! Favorite Tracks: Ordinary, Waste of a Man, and (as strange as it may seem) Rhino.

Really, Really Good Hard Rock!,

Picked this CD up a couple months ago & loved it...after my friends heard it, they asked me where to get it. This band has their own sound but, some of the music reminds you of Alice In Chains, Cold, & others. I actually like this much better than those bands. This is SOLID throughout - no weak songs & nothing to skip over. Wish they come tour my way so I could see them live. I highly recommend this - buy it & you will not regret it.
