Editorial Reviews

Review

“A new and encyclopedic vision of modern German literary, intellectual and social history, achieved through the optic of discourse analysis, psychoanalysis, and semiotic theory, analyzed in a spirit of playfulness and impudent precision.”—Stanley Corngold, Princeton University

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for redefining German culture as well as to think about your own, November 8, 2009
This review is from: Discourse Networks, 1800/1900 (Paperback)
This is an awesome book if you are interested in German culture history. Although the methods author uses for making his point clear can be useful for thinking and re-thinking other national and cultural phenomenons. a truly unique and original work!
