I don't think the other one-star review here has the the wrong values. I think it's spoofing the mentality a lot of actual I AM students have. A lot of this religion is preoccupied with supply in a very shallow sense. The messengers made it out like having lots of money and nice stuff and eternal youth is the greatest thing ever (look at their own personal lives), and here we students are spending so much of our energy decreeing for money and fine clothing and trinkets, when none of these things bring anyone closer to God. Even those wise enough to realize that money does not appear out of thin air, though the books do make it out like this can really happen, are often not wise enough to realize that being so preoccupied with supply of fine things is simply a shallow mentality from the get-go. Yes, you need enough money to live and have the basic necessities of life, plus a bit more, but none of that is very difficult even without all of the supply decrees.

This Activity has given us all extremely greedy and selfish financial advice, and we would do well to take stock of whether these pieces of advice were coming from actual spiritual people or just people looking to make a buck.

And I had drawn up all my Precious Plans to live in a Sacred Palace covered with Diamond-Shining Ascended Master Jewels! But, Lo, here I AM, still trying to come up with a way to make an extra dime or two off of selling Amway products and mastering other pyramid schemes...toughing it out along with the rest of the common lot of humankind's undignified middle class.
