This is a great book, but if you alredy have the New Inductive Study Bible than you already have all the material in this book. I have the Bible and when I bought this book I was disapointed to find out it was all the same, but it still great as a gift.

With this book, anyone can tap into the Bible expertise of Kay Arthur and study through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Originally the material in this book was only available in the Inductive Study Bible but now you can access it with this book--and use whatever Bible to study through the Scriptures.

If you want to know more about the Bible, use this book. It's an excellent resource and guide for a self-guided study of the entire Bible. Also it's another well-written reference book which is packed with insight and information.

This has been a very educational book with great study ideas, although it takes quite awhile to do all the recommendations. It does give me a completely different view on what the Bible passages are saying, but it's taking me awhile to catch the hang of the process. Overall though, I'm learning new perspectives on Bible study with a whole new respect on reading my Bible.

This is a book that will help anyone who wants to study the Bible. Arthur, a Bible teacher who developed Precept Ministries, has provided a tool that will help anyone--beginner or Bible student--study the Bible book by book.

She gives a good introduction to inductive Bible study and the importance of Bible study. She says, "Just as no one else can eat and digest your food for you so no one else can feed on God's Word for you." Answering the questions, "What does the passage say?", "What does it mean?" and "What does it mean to me?" will provide nourishing food from studying the Bible.

Arthur provides historical and Biblical time lines, important things to know about each book as one studies, charts to write in to help study and questions to apply the text to one's own life. Anyone can use this book with profit--someone just learning to study the Bible or someone who wants to do an intensive study of each book of the Bible.

I definitely would suggest using this book with a friend. But do use it--for your good spiritual nutrition.

this book arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. i highly recommend this book and seller to everyone. this book has helped me learn the bible for myself and im growing in knowledge of the scriptures tremendously using this book as a tool and guide!

Kay Arthur's books all lead to helping one discover the Bible through observation, interpretation, and application. But having read her book "How to Study Your Bible Precept Upon Precept," I guess I found this with not much else to add. So it was okay, but not something that was necessary for me, but I'm sure it would be of some benefit to one not familiar with her program.

I purchased Arthur's "Helpful intro..." and The New Inductive Study Bible suggested in Arthur's Bible studies at the same time. I didn't know the two were redundant, with the exception the biblical text is not included in Arthur's book. I feel Arthur's "Helpful intro..." might be more useful in the absence of The New Inductive Study Bible. I think both are excellent resources for an introductory study of the Bible, just disappointed that my purchasing power could have been better utilized with one resource.

What ever your need in study guides, this is an excellant book to assist you in your fellowship studies. Use it while being helped or helping others. You will give it 5 stars also.

I have read and studied from Kay Arthur's study books for many years. I have just purchased several to learn how to live in these troublesome times according to God's Word. I have The International Inductive Study Bible,very helpful.A friend has the Discover the Bible for Yourself.I did not have that one,so I looked on Amazon, Of course I was happy to purchase it from Amazon. I find it very helpful.I would suggest if you are making a purchase, Behold Jesus Is Coming,is a study guide for the book of Revelations. I enjoy Amazon and the prices and shipping are very reasonable,also you recieve them very quickly, and in very good condition. Are just scroll through Amazon, type in Kay Arthur's name an many, many wonderful books will be shown.May it be a delight for you.
