Best phonics program available,

Before purchasing this program, I looked intensively for theright program to teach my children to read, to be good readers, to beable to spell well, and to enjoy learning a difficult language - English. This program makes the complexities of English very orderly and understandable. I have been able to achieve all of the goals that I strived for with this program.

I am an elementary school teacher and have been trained in the Discover Intensive Phonics program. It is an excellent resource that has reaped significant results in my classroom. Students enjoy using markers and dry erase boards for our daily practice and are proud of learning a "secret code" for marking vowels, consonants, and syllables. Reading, writing, and spelling skills have skyrocketed with daily practice. Our summer school program uses it with remedial readers. There are new programs available, updated for 2008.
