This a great release for the Chet fan who must have everything. The recording quality is excellent as with most Japanese Sony CDs.Classic Chet Gretsch guitar tone and nice acoustic resonator guitar. The songs are also somewhat different. Some beutiful melodies. English translation of the entire package would have been a real plus.

If you are a Chet Atkins Fan (atic)like I am since the late forties, this CD is unlike anything Chet has done before. At first I was a little dissappointed thinking I was going to get purely traditional Japanese music. Nor is it Sukiyaki (Ky Sakamoto). Chet's Midas Touch prevails. The great thing about Chet's style is that he never repeats. This CD obviously was solely aimed at the Japanese market because there is an absolute minimum of English in the discography. Great intelligent music from Chester Burton Atkins CGP RIP.
