About the Author
Marilu Suarez-Murias is from Caracas, Venezuela. She originally came to Puerto Vallarta in 1989 for three months, but she still lives here with her husband, Dean, her baby daughter, Sabrina and her dog, kichu. Her works have been published internationally, including her most recent book, The Magic of Puerto Vallarta, as well as two guidebooks in Spanish; The Guidebook for the California Globetrotter andThe Guidebook for the Mexico Globetrotter. Marilu has a Bachelors Degree in Communication from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, and a Masters Degree from American University in Washington, D. C.

Small enough to fit in your pocket, but full of glossy full color pages of useful information, maps, and pictures, this guidebook is quite nice. Not as thick as the other PV guidebooks, but just as useful (or more so), and easier to carry around. Highly recommended. I liked it better than the other "big name" PV guidebooks.
