1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother
Where's the beef? A very brief travelog with nothing you have not seen before. A total waste of time and money.

This review is from: Discoveries...America, Vermont (DVD)
Vermont is one of the small New England states that is known to the general public primarily for its Maple Syrup and Fall Colors when the tree leaves turn from green to gold, yellow, and red. "Discoveries America: Vermont" is a full color, sixty minute, highly informative and entertaining DVD documentary that showcases a great more characteristics and history of this north eastern state which has long been a bastion of individualism and patriotism. It once had more than 600 bridges, a legacy honored by the Covered Bridge Museum in Bennington. It is the home of the Moosefest where dozens of moos art sculptures appear around a small Vermont town. Then there is the Teddy Bear Company which is the only United States based manufacturer still making teddy bears for children. In this superbly presented travelog, viewers will also be treated to a visit to the Cold Hollow Cider Company and the cider making process, the Benedictine monks at the Weston Pirory and their music, the Knights Spider Web farm where real spider webs are employed in the creation of art, and so much more. Also very highly recommended for community library collections is another new release in the Bennett Watt Entertainment travelog documentary series: Discover America: Maine.
