Professor Don Yoder has produced the consumate authority on all things Pennsylvania German. If you don't know who they are, here you will learn. If you don't know their food, their dress, their customs, their architecture; their folk religion and folk crafts, here you will learn. Everyone with the slightest interest in this culture must have this book. It will never lose its existential importance.
