The content of this book was not bad but the typesetting and editing were horrible. The examples often appeared to be in the wrong place. Several of the figures had type errors where the fonts would stack on top of each other. Some examples could not be read at all.

There were so many errors in the fonts that it was difficult to read. Since the book can be read in a single afternoon, I see no real reason the errors could not have been corrected before print. The problems are too obvious to miss.

I was very disappointed with this book.
The typesetting was terrible; over printing - looked like bad css, in hardcopy!
The "help" was little; Automator is more intuitive than this book suggests.
AND, who cares about 70+ (80?) automator scripts for Microsoft products?
Fortunately, this was bought with a gift certificate and cost me nothing, don't
waste your money1

It is a nice review, covering all classic issues that automator has.
It is remarkable in terms of order and structure, but it has some printing problems that make graphics not entirely visible

Anyway , I would like to have more in-depth coverage of all new functions from Snow Leopard on, along with a method to outline our own workflows

No competitor if the only-hardcover edition while challenged for some nice books with Kindle Editions as well
