About the Author

Author Kevin Atticks brings years of experience tasting, pouring, and writing about fine wines to his books. He began keeping a wine journal while studying at Loyola College in Maryland and has explored the many varying wine regions of America's East and West Coasts (and all those in between) and South Africa. Atticks' debut book, Discovering Maryland Wineries, has won acclaim by consumers, the wine industry, the Baltimore Sun and other regional media. What began simply as Discovering Maryland Wineries has expanded to a series of travel guidebooks including Discovering Lake Erie Wineries, the upcoming title Discovering New Jersey Wineries, and even more guides are planned for the near future. Atticks currently teaches journalism classes at Loyola College and continues to conduct winetastings and write about wines.
