Get around Tucson
This is a good guide for the out of towner or the local who wants the inside scoop on attractions, restaurants etc. It is broken down into day trips,attractions, a&e, outdoor stuff,shopping. We've visited several places we wouldn't have known about and eaten at a couple of restaurants listed. Maps of different areas are included. Let's you know what's around Tucson...

How to understand, enjoy, and shop
If you already have one of the major guidebooks to Tucson, this is an adequate supplement. The information seems geared more towards long-term visitors than day-trippers. If you want to know where to buy shoes or cd's this is the book for you. But it's not an entertaining travel companion. The writing is drab and cliche-ridden--the word "great" seems to...

If you already have one of the major guidebooks to Tucson, this is an adequate supplement. The information seems geared more towards long-term visitors than day-trippers. If you want to know where to buy shoes or cd's this is the book for you.But it's not an entertaining travel companion.
