I purchased this toy as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. He likes to make his own beer, so I thought it would appeal to him that this is a "Pub" game. It turned out to be a hit during the holidays both with him and with out entire family. It can go quickly, so multiple people get to take turns and it's a very simple concept of rolling dice, adding up the amount, and either putting up the corresponding block number on your side or putting down one of your opponents based upon what you rolled. There is minimal strategy involved so this game can be played by kids who can count. What is really great is that it is mostly self contained -attached to the briefcase like structure of it and there are very few additional pieces to it. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone you need to purchase a gift for.

First, a lot of reviewers are not mentioning how durable and nice the case is for this game. It's a quality-made product, as good as many, expensive Backgammon cases are. Second, this is a fun game, playable in 5 minutes, with a little strategy. However, it mostly comes down to the luck of the dice. It's similar to Shut The Box, but two players compete at the same time to complete all of the numbers. The first player to do this four times, or complete four "bridges", wins. Sevens and doubles are especially good; they are used to complete bridges, act as wild cards (7's), or complete all your numbers at once (double 6). But, a double 1 makes you start the bridge all over again. Other doubles allow you to knock down the blocks of your opponent's bridge. Overall, a quick, fun game for all ages.

My father in law gave me this game tonight. Took it to my poker game. I was one of the first two to bust out of the poker game so I got Two Bridges out of the car. It wasn't long before we realized we were having way more fun playing it than we did playing poker. During the second Hold 'em tournament, I couldn't wait to bust out so I could play Two Bridges. Instant hit. Fast paced, simple to learn, and endlessly fascinating.

This game is quick to learn, fast to play, and fun. It takes longer to pack this game up than it does to learn how to play. Once you get the hang of it, games can be played in less than 10 minutes. The dice that it comes with are good, the construction is a solid 4/5, the wood is sturdy but the latch to close it isn't. And when you close it you must place the items in the middle of the hinges, and bring both sides of the case up at the same time. No closing the case with one side flat on the table, the wooden pieces will fall up and prevent it.

Downsides are the manual doesn't really have a home now, there's no good spot to store it, would have been better printed on the felt of the game since it's so short. I feel like the coins or coin catcher will be lost eventually but they're not a custom item, a quarter and ketchup cup would work. Closing it up the first time was a bit tricky since the wooden tabs fell open, you have to close both sides together.

Pluses are it's very fun to play, you only have to add 2 numbers together and remember a very short list of rules. It's easy to turn into a drinking game. People get excited when a sturdy wooden box comes out of the closet with a game. It's self contained inside the box, no cardboard to break. It feels solid, not like it'll break anytime soon.

This one is fun, spend your money on it.

I played this game for the first time during the holidays. It quickly became the center of attention in the room and everyone had a good time watching and rotating in to play. Little kids were playing and the older adult type people played as well. 5 stars!

Most dice games originate in and around Ireland and England. I love this game. It has a funny little back-story about a dragon's horde that is fun to read every once in a while. Great game to have in the closet. My wife and I play it a lot. Super addictive. You can't play just one round. Best 2 out of 3... Best 3 out of 4...

This game is great because it is fast and easy to learn, great for kids and adults, easy to play in a home or pub setting, it is quite attractive so can be left out on your coffee table, and it is suspenseful to play which makes it quite fun. Even though it is only for two people, the games go quickly so you can take turns within a short period of time. We played with a group of 8 and it was really fun. My eight year old loves to play too. It helps her learn to add when playing, and she likes the cool coins to roll. It closes up nicely and is easy to take with you anywhere you want to play. Love it!

This game was a big hit with the family during the holidays. All ages can play! Easy to learn, assists with learning to count for the small ones and totally fun to bring to any party. This game is portable to take to your next event and looks handsome in the sturdy wooden carrying case. You learn the rules very fast and it's hard to stop the dice-rolling fun. Great gift idea for anyone!
