This game is fun to play with people of even greatly differing ages. We don't use the game board ... we simply read the questions from three cards and the person who earned the most points wins. I've learned things that I can't imagine encountering any other way. The only thing that would make this better is if there was a companion manual with additional information/clarification of some of the questions/answers.

I just ordered two copies of Guesstimation for $9.99. I can see now why the price is so low. The game box has a sticker on it saying "Available on the App Store September 2010". This is June 2012. I was planning on giving a copy of this game as a gift. This game is "new" to me, but it's going to look like I had it sitting in my closet for over two years and decided to dump it on the receiver. Yes, I did try removing the sticker. It's not so easy to remove a sticker that has been on a cardboard box for two years--still working on it.

This game has an equal chance for most all players. It states it is for 8 years and older. but the younger folks might not have the worldly experience to help in general. It is easy to stop and start with interruptions. The most competitive man will also have a great evening of entertainment.
I gave one as a gift and had to get one for myself.

This game is a bunch of cards and a board with a few pieces of various colors. There's some game mechanic they wrote on the paper (it plays like Sorry(tm) sort of) but the nuts and bolts are the questions.

The die roll determines which question is read, and if the question is written in green someone can challenge another person. Or something.

You may get the idea that i don't like this game. You'd be incorrect. This game is a lot of fun, especially if you know really smart people that like feeling smart. I suggest picking this up if you can get a good price and let everyone know that you have it.

It's like "apples to apples©" except 100% less arbitrary!

So not until I got this did I realize, from the big sticker on the box, and the papers inside the box, that it was from 2009-2010. Not a big problem in terms of game play, but over the course of two games, we did come across two questions that were outdated by more recent events. We just agreed to go by the 2009-2010 numbers, so it wasn't an issue. HOWEVER, I bought this as a gift for my sons, as I always give them pjs and a game of some type on Christmas eve. So it looked like I cheaped out buying an old gift. Granted, it was cheap, though.
I would not hesitate to buy this for a second, though, if it isn't for a gift. It is fun and can be played by as many people as you want, really. I think there are 6 game pieces included, but you can play teams or use other things for tokens for more players. It can be a fun party game and you pick up lots of interesting trivia.

This is the best family game. I bought three more games for gifts. Great fun for all ages, anyone can guess a number.

played the game at our daughters house and absolutely loved it. I went online and ordered it on our trip home! It's a nice change from trivial pursuit. Found that everyone had a more equal chance to get closest to the answer.....especially the people who feel they don't do as well when we play trivial pursuit. We didn't use the "chip" with the game and wish it had twice as many game cards, but had so much fun playing it.....and we were able to play with 5+ people where some games are more limited to an even number of players. As a family we try to get together once a week and frequently have 7 people.....so this game will be a great addition to game night.

Played with a couple of friends and we had a great time playing. A lot of the info in the game is very interesting. I think it is a game that is better when more people are involved, but still easily played with 3 people. It does get a little monotonous guessing numbers over and over but it is always fun to see how close or far off you are with your guess! Will definitely break it out again sometime soon.
