My book is Dive. The book is about four teenagers that are chosen by a professor to dive and explore the sea. They aren't sure why they are there, but they know that they're looking for something big. The other divers are covering up something, and they don't want Star, Dante, Adriana, and Kaz to know.

I think this book makes people think about what could happen next. That is one of the reasons why I like it. Another reason is that you don't know what they're hiding until a little more than half of the story, and you want to find out so bad so you're on you're toes! The setting of the story is out on an island in the Atlantic Ocean.

( I didn't tell people what they're hiding, because they mignt want to read it, and find out for them selves.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Dive: The Discovery : Book One, November 30, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
Dive: The discovery is pretty much a adventure/mystery that takes place in the middle of the Carribean. It's about four kids who are set-up for a diving internship at an oceanography company called Poisedon. They're with the Ponce de Leon and it's crew, but they find out that they're four litte pawns in a treasure hunt. The crew of the Ponce de Leon has the kids mark random caves while they take metal scans for the missing gold. They obviously don't solve the problem in the first book,so they leave off with a cliffhanger. They also have a side story about an abandoned orphan who's at the mercy of Captain James Blade. They're on a ship called the Griffon, with more than 100 crew members. James Blade states that it's "perfectly legal" and "goverment certified," to steal treasure from Spain's ships and plunder their gold. The boat later wrecks, and all their gold sinks to the depths of the Carribean, and now the Ponce de Leon crew is after it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book I ever read!, May 31, 2005
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
"Dive" is about 4 kids having an adventure in underwater. It sounded ordinary for me, but when I started reading it made me very excited and enjoy. It made me fluttered because there's a lot of thrill and suspense. It also has a big climax at the end about live or die. You should read it!

I think that Dive is an exciting book that has many adventures. There are four divers that have been chosen to explore the sea. While they are there they run into a couple problems. The killer sharks and someone is covering up something big that they dont want people to know about.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dive; book one : Discovery, May 18, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
The deep, mysterious ocean holds more value than to the human eye. Something more valuable than ever. What seemed like an opportunity of a lifetime has unraveled into something more, than the four kids can handle, and something so great has finally revealed itself.
Kaz, Dante, Adriana and Star, are invited to a summer internship to scuba dive. They know the organization doesn't seem to be what they look like, and they are going to prove it. Especially because the kids found sunken treasue and they are not the only ones who want it. The only thing stopping them is the bad guys and the sharks, especialy the eighteen foot tiger shark, Clarence. Each step that the kids take to getting the treasure the danger unfolds more.
I really enjoyed this book a lot because there was so much excitement and I had a lot of fun reading it, because it compares to teenagers all around and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants a great book that stays in your imagination forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dive, Book 1, May 15, 2005
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
This is the first book in the Dive series. Star, Kaz, Dante, and Adriana, are four interns on a diving trip this summer. They are chosen to go to Poseidon, a diving internship all summer. Star, is a cripple, with Cerebral Palsy, but she is the best diver in the internship. Adriana, is not the best, and at first, would have much rather been on an Archaelogical Dig, with her uncle, but her brother was chosen, but knows quite abit about 300 year old artifacts. Dante, is a photographer, and is also color-blind, but helps the others ediscover a treasure. And Kaz, is in guilt. he accidentally made a collision with a hockey player, Drew, and Drew will never walk again. So Kaz goes to Posedon, to get away from sport that could turn him into a weapon of destruction, (Or, that's how he sees it.) But is now really getting into things, and, saves both Star's and Adriana's life, and even Star is impressed. Then, Star finds the shipwreck, and discovers old musket bullets, but is told by Tad Cutter and his crew that they are just movie props. Then they find a piece of eight (Spanish money) And then, they discover that Cutter and his fellows are onto THEIR treasure. This is a great starting book in the series, so read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Dive: The Discovery, June 11, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
The Discovery is about a group of four interns working for Poseidon. They are assigned to a group of three oceanogrophers who seem to be hiding something. For the first few weeks Nobody sees Cutter's crew then, all of a sudden the interns with very little expierience starts locating every cave for a map that doesn't even exist.Sounds fishy but, Kaz, Dante, Star, and Adriana are determinded to find out what.

This book is very exciting and will hold your interest throughout the whole book. Once you read the first book you will hooked and have to go out and buy the other two books.

4.0 out of 5 stars By Brent, October 25, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
Four Teens,Adriana Ballantyne,Dante Lewis, Star Ling, and Bobby Kaczinski (Kaz) recieved an internship for a summer Poseidon Oceanographic Institute diving off the Carribean Islands. Dante sees something that none of the others can see. Dante is color-blind which makes it easier for him to make out shapes and objects. You have to read the book to find out what Dante saw on the Dive which has a big impact on the book! Gordan Korman did a really good the Dive books. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys these genres; Adventure,Action, and Mystery! I really enjoyed this book and I think that you would to.

This review is from: The Discovery (Dive, Book 1) (Paperback)
OMG! I just finished Korman's DIVE series. The books are amazing, and are great for readers around 10 to 17. This series is nerve-racking, and it is one of those books you can't put down. I can't wait to read the next series, EVEREST. It looks great. You will get your money's worth.
