This toy is very unique. Though we did have some problems with it at first, we changed the batteries and it worked! This toy can "dance", wave, and can even guard your door! It doesn't work well on the carpet. It has a very helpful instruction book, which tells you what all the buttons do in detail.

The sensor was too sensitive so when you program it to walk through a doorway or between things for example it would stop. This bug made the toy all but unusable. Great idea and would have been incredibly educational however missed the target totally. Maybe ours was just broken. But for the money one would think that it would have been better.

It kills me to write this. The toy had so much potential. Maybe tape over part of the sensor would soften it a bit? hmmmmmm.......

Ordered a Discovery Roboquad and it doesn't respond to the remote commands. Did some research and found numerous other discussion boards where folks had the same issue with this Wow Wee product line.

I had to return the item... and shipping cost almost half the cost of the product. Ouch!

I adore Wow Wee's other robotic products, but the Discovery Roboquad is a botched product line. Horrible quality control to have so these issues continuing to appear on the Roboquad again and again.
