This toy is very educational. It can be played with as intended or it can be used in a creative play. For example, we built our own Lego-habitat for the animals, made them race through a cube maze, ride the train, or just pretend to be the cargo of a truck.

I bought this set as an addition to the original pack. My grandson loves animals and loves learning all he can about them. With this educational set, he can learn while he plays with the animals which are very sturdy.

I purchased this product for my 3 year old niece and we have had nothing but raving reviews about this toy from her family. There is a scan machine that you must purchase separately. Great educational value because she is telling her freinds various animal facts from the toy 'talking facts' section. Great value, great toy (more like an educational toy).
