This was a Christmas gift for my nephew last year. He's all ways trying to use my real equipment and I didn't want him breaking or changing stuff with my real guitar and Mic. So I knew this was going to be a good gift for him. When he first opened it he was all over it. Like he didn't really play with his other gifts lol. So yes it's a good buy for a younger kid who is into music.

my son loved this toy, at first. only problem was by the next morning the mic didn't work, and he was not pulling or rough with the cord. he quickly got bored with the guitar noises and wanted to be able to hear real guitar sounds when he strummed the strings. needless to say, it was returned.

We did had fun with it for the first night. after that no one enjoyed it.
It is impossibale to create music,strumming the strings produce "rock" like music that is pre-recorded into the guitar. you are only restricted to the 'heavy metal' accords that are built in with the guitar. pressing the diffrent buttons do make diffrent sounds - but that is by no means music. it is annoying noise. the only amusing thing with the guitar is the distorsion button.
This is not a guitar for a chils that wants to discover music. just annoying loud and un pleasent noise. we really regret buying it, and im on my way to take the batteries out of it.

I ordered this for my almost three year old Niece for Christmas. Because the other reviews were mixed, I decided to take it out of the package and try it out before wrapping it. I'm glad I did. The microphone worked fine but the music the guitar makes was very distorted coming through the speaker of the guitar. The voice/noise that is filtered through that same speaker from the microphone are very clear with no noise distortion. The strings are also very fragile. Overall, a rickety product.

The guitar did not work from day one, very light-weight. Even if the guitar had worked, I don't think it would have held up to the play of a 3 year old. Very disappointed.

You get what you pay for, I guess. Didn't last long before it broke.

My 3 year old grandson loved it. I thought it was just ok but since he liked it, it was worth it.

The quality of this item was really poor and did not deserve the high price charged for it. It should be for children under the age of five.

I bought this for my 4-year old nephew who loves to imitate his favorite singer. It was great right out of the box. He sang & "played" the guitar for us. He, at times, shared the microphone with his brother, who also seemed to be having fun with this toy. I would heartily recommend this toy for any child who loves to perform or who has an active imagination.

This item arrived quickly in spite of being ordered close to Christmas. I am very pleased with the item and with the seller's promptness. My grandson loves this toy.
