This updated and expanded edition describes the problems that litigators encounter most frequently in pretrial discovery and presents suggestions and strategies for solving these problems. 5.0 out of 5 stars Practical Book, January 22, 2011

This review is from: Discovery Problems and their Solutions (Paperback)
If you do a lot (or even a little) litigation, you have probably run into some fairly significant discovery problems. This book provides a good overview of discovery methods and then discusses the typical kinds of disputes and approaches to dealing with them. A strength of the book is that it is that one of the authors is a Federal magistrate judge who has seen plenty of discovery disputes. The other other authors are practicing attorneys. I have found this book a really good resource when dealing with opposing counsel who are seemingly unable to timely come up with documents, directly answer a simple interrogatory, or admit that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
