This is an engaging and interesting story of a space-faring race discovering a signal that may represent intelligent life & their journey to find its source. Quickly we are introduced to a universe already in motion and, knowing that this is one of a few prequel stories that lead into Chris's upcoming novel "The Incident at Station 23", the way it leaves the reader wanting to read more than is given here feels appropriate and well-planned. Certainly worth your $0.99 if you like science fiction, alien races, and want a taste of an up-and-coming author.
