It clearly states that this is a hardcover that weighs 2.3 pounds.....but when you open the package all you get is a cd. It does not tell you that until after the receipt is sent. Should not even be listed as a BOOK! I know I don't carry a laptop with me in our Land Rover in case it breaks down....

My only complaint is that they sent me the wrong book. It was not the one advertised, and now it's too late to return it for a refund.

Ordered this manual to help with repairs and services on my Land Rover. Book I received was a hard cover in great condition. The manual is very thorough. A very good product, well worth the money!

I just read those other three reviews. I am glad I did not read them prior to purchasing this book, because I may not have purchased it. As it stands, I did buy it, and I am very happy with it. In reading the description, I do not honestly remember if I was expecting to receive a hardback or a soft cover book. I received a soft cover book. It was in fantastic condition, and it was exactly the book pictured. I received it within a few days of ordering it. I could not have been more satisfied.

If you exclude the bad experiences other shoppers have had, and I feel for them, the content of the book itself is superb. If you can get your hands on a good copy of this book, you will not be sad you did. This is a very well put together book, and the instructions are very easy to follow. I really feel like this book alone has given me some of the confidence I need, as a non-tool using mammal, to begin doing some of my own Land Rover maintenance. I recommend just the book itself, very highly.

Again, my heart goes out to the people who had such horrible experiences. I am fortunate that I cannot count myself among them.

The worst!!!! I STILL have not received this, my credit card was charged the day after my order was placed (July 7). It is now August 6 and NOTHING!!!
